Design is not decoration. Every interface, object, and system a designer ships lands in somebody's actual day, and it either respects that person or it does not. This course teaches design as a discipline of consequences — how to see problems clearly, understand the people inside them, and make work that genuinely matters.

Aisha Rahman draws on two decades of practice across product studios and social enterprises to walk you through the full arc: what design is really for, how to do research that surfaces truth instead of confirmation, how to move from insight to prototype without losing the plot, and how to use critique and iteration to make the work better instead of just different.
